A few weeks ago I tried a new beer, Victory Golden Monkey. An interesting and yummy Belgium-type ale . I had three or four one night and had to almost be carried out of the bar. Now 4 beers isn't a lot for me...I can drink that much and still run a hash. What I didn't realize until last night was that Golden Monkey is a high-gravity beer!! 9.5% - so it was more like I had 8 beers.
Thank god, I thought I was going soft.
